Open Question: Dry red patches under my eyes?

I've been using acnefree severe acne, for about two months, and just a few weeks ago, I found the skin a little dry red patches under my eyes. I use this time a new liner and foundation, so I think this is the real reason. Whenever I put my face in areas acnefree, even when I put it in the water, it will cause it to sting so bad, I wish to call. Even if acneefree did not lead to it, will it help to just stop using? I am worried that it might make the situation worse. I have not worn in about a week later, there is no make-up, and there is no change so far.
